Quick Plumbing Tips

There are times where you may have plumbing problem that don't necessarily require a plumber's help! Here are a few quick tips:

1. Knowing which tools to use and how you should use them is an important skill when it comes to plumbing.

Manuals can be a pain sometimes but it's your best reference when it comes to knowing your tools and how to use them. When it comes to plumbing, you can never be sure which material or tools to use and it's best to get reference from your manual or even the internet.

2. Cleaning your pipes, drains and bathroom clogs.

Give all drains strainers to gather particulate matter that can clog pipes. Try to never pour grease, fat, or any oil-based liquids into your drains. Get rid of any fat or oils outside or in the garbage can. Pro tip: Use baking soda and one cup of vinegar per month to keep the bathtub drain clear and running well.

3. Avoid major clogs for toilet bowls.

To keep it functioning for a long duration of time, do not lush cotton balls or swabs, paper towels, diapers, sanitary pads or other materials that will not dissolve.

If under circumstances some plumbing cannot be fixed, be sure to call the professionals to help.
